Substitute Teaching

Substitute Teaching

We encourage you to consider opportunities to substitute teach for Anderson County Schools.  Certified teachers make excellent substitutes and may decide to apply for employment as full time teachers.  Non-certified substitutes are a mainstay in our system, and we seek applicants from all interested, qualified individuals.  Substitutes will be required to have a background check and drug screen, at their expense, completed before they will be put on the substitute teacher list.

New Substitute Training Dates

Thursday, August 17
Thursday, August 31

You will fill out a W-4 and direct deposit form at the class.  Please bring along your banking information, and if possible, a voided check.  You will also need to bring your driver's license and social security card.
